Media For All specialises in bringing high quality broadcast training to schools, colleges and community-based projects. We provide a multimedia service, which operate, during term time (after school) sand also providing Summer and Easter vacation media clubs.

“Media for All” is a community organisation established on 21st February 2002, to affect the change in the
life in an increasing number of young people in our community who are leaving formal education with no
qualifications and those who have left the care services. These individuals are therefore being excluded
from the main frame of society. Media for All, use television and cinematic techniques to engage with young people, providing them with a forum in which they can debate and communicate their concerns, and they use these processes to highlight the issues that affect them, in their communities, schools and within their peer group. Media for All work centres on providing instruction at a number of levels and the work is conditioned
by a desire to facilitate the inclusion of all. The users are instructed in how to produce a variety of
programmes ranging from street crime, young gay and lesbian issues to school exclusions.

All the programmes are researched, written, produced, filmed and edited by the students, which will then be broadcast on Sky Community Channel.

Media for All offers a pathway into higher education and highlights careers opportunities in broadcasting, through the provision of industry work placements. These placements are within Sky television where our students are afforded opportunities to work along side professionals in studios, these placements
are coupled with placements at LWT, which provide young people with an opportunity to gained paid work experience while learning all aspects of the London Television Network.
